YMCA.mk has officially opened applications for its 2026 Young Men’s Leadership Project (YMLP) Camp, continuing its long-standing tradition of delivering dynamic, American-style leadership experiences for youth. Implemented in partnership with the Peace Corps and local volunteers, this year’s camp promises an engaging mix of experiential education, leadership development, and unforgettable summer fun.

Designed for motivated and aspiring young leaders, the YMLP Camp is open to high school students who demonstrate leadership potential, strong English skills, and a commitment to community involvement. At the 4-day, 3-night overnight camp, participants will experience a hands-on, interactive program based on YMCA.mk’s “Leaders-in-Training” pillars: Civic Responsibility, Environment, Leadership, Personal Growth, and Career Development. Campers will engage in workshops, team-building challenges, and reflection sessions that encourage critical thinking, collaboration, and self-discovery.

In addition to leadership-focused activities, YMLP camp offers a wide range of sports, outdoor adventures, and creative electives, including camping and hiking in Pelister National Park and teambuilding at an adrenaline park, ensuring a well-rounded and exciting camp experience.

Camp Information
· Dates: July 8–11, 2026
· Location: Bitola & Pelister National Park
· Eligibility: High school students (Years 1–4) with leadership potential, proficient English, motivation, and experience in community service
· Camp Values: Caring, honesty, respect, responsibility, courage, creativity, and passion
· Camp Fee: 5500 MKD (Includes lodging, meals and snacks, transportation to Pelister National Park, adrenaline park fee, materials, and group insurance. Does not include transportation to/from Bitola.)

How to Apply
1. Students complete the online application by 30 April 2026
2. Selected applicants are invited to an interview with a member of the camp staff
3. Applicants are notified of their status
4. Parents/guardians of accepted campers receive a comprehensive welcome packet, submit required forms, and complete payment
5. Campers get ready for an unforgettable experience!
