YMCA.mk has officially announced its Call for Campers for the 2026 Girls Leading Our World (GLOW) Camp. Continuing its proud tradition of delivering dynamic, American-style summer camps, the program is designed and implemented in partnership with Peace Corps volunteers and a dedicated network of local volunteers.

Open to future changemakers, GLOW Camp invites high school students to apply for this transformative experience. The 4-day, 3-night overnight camp will be held in Bitola and the scenic surroundings of Pelister National Park, offering participants an inspiring natural environment for learning, growth, and connection.

GLOW Camp is designed to empower young women through a combination of experiential education and meaningful peer engagement. Campers will explore YMCA.mk’s “Leaders-in-Training” pillars, including Civic Responsibility, Environment, Leadership, Personal Growth, and Career Development. Through hands-on workshops, team challenges, and guided reflection, participants will build essential life skills while gaining confidence in their ability to lead and make an impact. Beyond the leadership curriculum, campers will enjoy a diverse range of activities, including sports, outdoor adventures, and creative electives, ensuring a balanced and memorable summer experience.

Camp Information
· Dates: July 8–11, 2026
· Location: Bitola & Pelister National Park
· Eligibility: High school students (Years 1–4) with leadership potential, proficient English, motivation, and experience in community service
· Camp Values: Caring, honesty, respect, responsibility, courage, creativity, and passion
· Camp Fee: 5500 MKD (Includes lodging, meals and snacks, transportation to Pelister National Park, adrenaline park fee, materials, and group insurance. Does not include transportation to/from Bitola.)

How to Apply
1. Students complete the online application by 30 April 2026
2. Selected applicants are invited to an interview with a member of the camp staff
3. Applicants are notified of their status
4. Parents/guardians of accepted campers receive a comprehensive welcome packet, submit required forms, and complete payment
5. Campers get ready for an unforgettable experience!
