YMCA.mk is excited to announce its Call for Campers for the new SPARK Camp (Strong Prepared Aspiring Responsible Kids), a dynamic day camp designed for upper primary school boys and girls. Building on YMCA.mk’s tradition of offering American-style camps, SPARK Camp is implemented in partnership with Peace Corps and local volunteers, promising an engaging mix of experiential education, personal growth, and summer fun.

Open to students from Bitola and the wider environment, Grades 6–8, the 3-day camp will empower young participants through hands-on learning, teamwork, and meaningful connections. Campers will explore YMCA.mk’s “Leaders-in-Training” pillars: Civic Responsibility, Environment, Leadership, and Personal Growth, gaining practical skills while developing confidence and resilience.

Alongside the core curriculum, SPARK Camp will offer a variety of sports, outdoor adventures, and creative electives, ensuring a balanced and memorable summer experience.

Camp Information

• Dates: June 23–25, 2026
• Location: The forest next to the Faculty of Pedagogy in Bitola & Pelister National Park
• Eligibility: Primary school students (Grades 6–8) with leadership potential, proficient English, and motivation for community service
• Camp Values: Caring, honesty, respect, responsibility, courage, creativity, and passion
• Camp Fee: 3000 MKD (Includes lunch and snacks, transportation to Pelister National Park, adrenaline park, materials, and group insurance. Transportation to/from the camp location is not included.)

Limited number of scholarships available based on request via the application and approved based on the family financial situation

How to Apply
1. Parents shoud apply online for their child by 15 May 2026 (Early Admission Deadline) or 1 June 2026 (Final Application Deadline)
2. Selected applicants are interviewed by a member of the camp staff
3. Campers are notified of their application status
4. Parents/guardians of accepted campers receive a comprehensive welcome packet, submit required forms, and complete payment
5. Campers prepare for an exciting SPARK experience!
